White River Place celebrates its six month anniversary with news that TK Maxx is to open this summer

Six months after opening its doors to crowds of excited shoppers, White River Place can announce today that it is adding to the ever developing line-up with a huge new TK Maxx store, which is due to open this summer.

The international brands-for-less retailer will launch its second Cornish store at the scheme on the corner of Aylmer Square. A huge hit with men and women of all ages, the arrival of TK Maxx will bring yet another great fashion name to St Austell, affirming its place as a major retail hub for the South West.

Since opening in October, the scheme has seen a flurry of new lettings including Game, Superdrug and Rowe Bakery with retailers continuing to report strong sales. In addition to its evident attraction to national, regional and now international chains, White River Place has proved a hit with the national property industry, recently winning the BREAAM award for sustainable retail property and being shortlisted for both the Property Week Sustainability Award and the Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors Awards.
