Lights, Camera, Action! White River Cinema is rolling...
December 2008 saw the launch of White River Cinema, a £3.5m, state-of-the-art, four-screen cinema complex being operated by the Cornish company, WTW Cinemas. It has been warmly received in the town as the first new cinema opened in Cornwall for 70 years!
The opening was an exciting milestone in the development of White River Place. The retail and residential parts of the new scheme continue to be developed around the cinema complex and will be opened to the public in October 2009, providing a wide range of shops, eateries and entertainments for St Austell's residents and visitors to enjoy.
